About me
Ghislaine Regout is a multi-instrumentalist, producer, songwriter and psychologist based in the Netherlands. Her music can be categorized by its complex sounds, a mix of rock, pop, and soul as well as experimentation with other genres, and its open and honest lyrics. Moreover, she’s always open to working with other artists. This has lead to various projects, including music collective called Hearts Under the Microscope. The idea of this collective is to find like-minded artists to work with and create a portfolio as a result. Ghislaine is currently looking for vocalists, senior producers, musicians and other artists to work with.
The one thing that sets Ghislaine’s music apart, is her talent for setting a mood straight away. She does this by instinctively choosing the right musical cues to enhance visual imagery, by being able to play various instruments including bass, piano and guitar, and being able to match whatever sound or style needed as a producer, composer and musician. She’s well-versed to working with and influencing emotions, and unafraid to tackle the difficult ones – as an artist and a psychologist – she can create highly personal musical lyrics and scores. She is experienced in working with Cubase.
Ghislaine is currently following the Wisseloord studio Songwriting course, and has worked with Grammy-nominated studio technicians as well as classically trained musicians. In 2024 BUMA/Stemra selected her as a composer to watch.
Ghislaine is currently available for songwriting camps.
